12 & 18 Month Warranty 

Go2 Scooters come with one of the best warranties in the world. 12 months of warranty on any manufacturing defect and another 18 months of repairs at cost which means you pay what it cost us, we won’t raise the price on you and you get it at a wholesale price, for a total of 18 months of warranty coverage For all your Scooter needs.

Warranty structure

At Go2 Scooters we have two warranty coverage sections A and B

1- 12 month limited warranty coverage for all of any manufacturer defects

2- 18 month protection plan for all wear and tear.

With these two together, I was limited warranty in our protection plan insurance owning a scooter is a smooth process. In the slim chance that problems do occur, Go2 Scooters has designed these policies to be extremely generous and supportive to our customers when getting the necessary help as quickly and as easy as possible.

The following are covered under our Go2 Scooters 12 month warranty policy. R1 Nitro, S1 Commuter, S1 Elite, T1 Cruiser, E10 Max

The following are covered under our Go2 Scooters 18 month warranty policy.

S1 Elite, R1 Nitro, E10 Max

Toddler, Teen and Adult kick Scooters

12 month limited warranty

Warranty eligibility

All Go2 Scooters, or covered with a limited warranty for all manufacturing defects for a period of one year equivalent to 12 months, starting on the day the school is received by the customer. The limited warranty coverage is only applicable In the following conditions:

1- Only the original purchaser (Name listed on order invoice/shipping document) Is entitled to the limited warranty coverage which commences on the day the school is received by the customer. The warranty. Is terminated on the first day of the second year of ownership, or when the scooter is resold or transferred to another individual (Warranty is by no means transferable under any circumstances).

2- The limited warranty is only applicable to the list of covered components, which includes the following:

  • Lithium ion battery
  • Motor and motor hub
  • LED lights
  • Frame
  • Scooter stem
  • Handlebar
  • Throttle
  • LCD display and wiring
  • Controller

The warranty is applicable for the following components only if defective within the first 15 days Or 10 miles of use (which ever comes first)

  • Forks
  • Brake calipers
  • Rims
  • Kickstand
  • Break disk

If the defective is not reported within this period, the components will not be covered by the warranty. Instead, customers will be able to purchase spare parts at wholesale price and we will be required to cover any associated shipping expenses.

Any defect report must include an image or photo, providing the existence of the defect when a defective component is reported and our Go2 Scooters engineer in team Validates the existence of the defect, Go2 Scooters will, and it’s sole discretion, either:

  • Repair the defective component at a Go2 Scooters service center (Labor included)
  • Replace the defective component with a new component (Free shipping and part included)

It will be up to the discretion of our Go2 Scooters engineering team to determine whether the component and or scooter or a defective and if they are covered by the limited warranty.

Limited warranty does not cover the following:

  • Normal wear and tear of any covered components
  • The cost of shipping of another scooter the box(Owners responsibility to keep the original box of or purchase a new box if needed due to replacement or repair)
  • Accessories or upgrades
  • Any refunds or incurred cost such as Uber rides, Public transportation, loss of time, Consequential, special, punitive or incidental loss, damage to personal property
  • Damage or defects caused by negligence, improper assembly, disassembly, modifications, accidents, miss use, improper tools, acts of God, failure to follow user manual/set up guides, water damage, improper cleaning solutions, and proper maintenance(Storage during winter for example), Extreme/crazy driving, commercial use, on authorized accessories, upgrades not sold by Go2 Scooters.
  • Screws, loss of screws, stripped screws due to over forcing
  • Battery failures due to water damage, improper charging, power surges, aftermarket chargers or lack of proper winter storage(75% Battery capacity in the room temperature)
  • Any orders that have received a charge back in that are currently under investigation(Until the Investigation is complete, warranty will be voided)

Additionally, please note that any forms of harassment or aggression towards Go2 Scooters staff or Go2 Scooters certified technicians will Not be tolerated and meet result in your warranty being voided and or terminated.

Claims process:

Go2 Scooters Will not proceed with any assistance under the limited warranty without receiving a video or image showing the claim defect.

In order to effectively I hope you get the repair or replacement parts needed, you must do the following

1- Submit a request for repair HERE. Our engineering team will review it and get back to you within 1-2 business days.

2- If the engineer in team determines the component is in fact defective and needs replacement, they will send you a replacement part and a written/video Instructions on how to repair and replace the components or part.

If you do not feel comfortable or do not have the time to do the repair of yourself, you may use one of our repair centers (Labor will be free of charge). However the customer will be responsible for the shipping cost, taxes and obtaining a scooter box if not still in possession of one.

To be clear, if your school face is a manufacturing defect after 15 days or 10 miles(Which ever comes first), Go2 Scooters will not replace the scooter with a new unit. Rest assured that Go2 Scooters will cover the parts and provide instructions to get this back to safe writing conditions, but replacing the entire unit will not be an option for you.

The solutions above are Go2 Scooters sole and exclusive remedies for any manufacturers limited warranty’s. Go2 Scooters is not liable for any damages or losses during this process, directly or indirectly.

Damages during shipping:

Go2 scooters offer the option to purchase additional shipping insurance to cover the value of your scooter in transit without that shipping insurance any loss or damage during shipping is at the responsibility of the customer. Go2 Scooters can assist with opening a claim against the courier For up to $100. If shipping insurance is purchase in the Scooter arrived damaged, Go2 scooters will be able to replace the unit (Upon verification from the customer support an engineering teams).

If your Scooter does arrived damaged, please contact and Go2 Scooters Immediately and provide any images documentation and proof within 10 days of receipt by submitting to this FORM.

It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the scooter for any damages upon receiving and to reach out to Go2 Scooters immediately.

Go2 Scooters Protection plan:

All Go2 Scooters(electric Scooters) are covered by the Go2 Scooters Protection Plan against wear and tear issues for a period of two years or (18 months), starting on the day the scooter is received by the customer.This protection plan coverage is only a Applicable in the following circumstances:

Go2 Scooters protection plan only covers the following components: 

  • Hand grips
  • Inner tubes
  • Tires
  • Brake pads
  • Kickstand

1- The components are free of charge, however the customer is responsible for the shipping charge of $20

2- Customers are limited to two tires per Month and two brake pads since every 200 miles

3- The shipping fee is waived if a flat tire, defective tire or faulty brake pads or detected and reported within the first 30 days of receipt or first 10 miles of use(Which ever comes first)

4- Only the original purchaser(Name listed on the shipping address/invoice) Is entitled to the limited warranty coverage which commences on the day the school is received by the customer. The protection plan. Is terminated when the product exceeds the 18th month, is resold or transfer to another individual (Protection plan is by no means transferable under any circumstances)

Owners responsibility:

As a purchaser and owner of an electric scooter, we ask that all customers do  their due diligence before purchasing a scooter to understand the maintenance needs required for these machines. Electric scooters will always require tightening screws, cleaning to avoid rust and squeaky brakes, proper winter storage. Our Team is always here to help if do you have any questions regarding maintenance – We always rather you ask then try it yourself. We also currently asked to always keep your scooter box with you (You may need repair or maintenance in the future and boxes are expensive to ship). We’re  always here to help.

Completed  BUT NOT SHIPPED (CANCELLATION):

Cancellation before shipment is subject to an 10% processing fee on all orders .

PRE-ORDERS and BACKORDER CANCELLATIONS:

For all pre-orders or backorder, your credit/debit card will be charged immediately. There will be no delay in payment collection, regardless of when the item is expected to ship. Any and all pre-orders or backorder that are canceled prior to shipping are only eligible for a 90% refund of the total order normal price.

THE SCOOTER HAS BEEN DELIVERED (UNUSED):

  • No returns are possible after 10 days of receiving the product.
  • To be eligible for a return, the scooter must be unused, free from dirt, dust, or any fragrances, and in the same packaging and condition that you received it.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • You will be charged up to a 25% restocking fee. (withheld from refund)

EXCHANGE or REPLACEMENTS

For non-quality issues, no replacements are possible after 10 days of receiving the product.

To be eligible for a replacement, the electric scooter must be unused, free from dirt, dust, or any fragrances, and in the same packaging and condition that you received it.

You will be responsible for paying for shipping both ways.

USED ITEMS

We do not offer returns on used items except in EXTREME cases of malfunction or defect..

Before a return is sent, the customer must have written approval of said return from Go2 Scooters . If a customer sends a return without the written consent of Go2 Scooters , a refund will not be issued and the customer will have to pay for shipping to get the item returned, or sacrifice the item.

If your approved return passes our inspection, you may receive an exchange, store credits, or a refund.

If we pass your return request, we will provide the shipping label.

Please notify us as soon as possible after you send your return by emailing customer@go2scooters.com and provide a tracking number. Once we received the item, we will either replace the item or give you a refund. This will be issued within 3 days.

If non-returnable items are returned without authorization from our Customer Service Team, they will be returned to the customer immediately and the customer will be notified. Restocking fees may apply to unauthorized returns.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • All accessories
  • Special orders
  • Used items except in EXTREME cases of breakage/malfunction

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven’t received a refund after 3 days of approval, please check your bank account again and contact your credit card company/bank as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at email.

SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS

In rare instances, the item received may be damaged during transportation. If shipping damage occurs, please contact the email and provide us with photo or video proof.

NOTICE: we will not accept Shipping Damage Claims later than 7 days from receipt of products.
